Ustadh Rouf Ditta

Ustadh Rouf Ditta graduated from the Victoria University of Manchester, in 2004, with a degree in Artificial Intelligence (Advanced Computer Science). He had been an active member of the Manchester University ISoc management committee where he campaigned for the rights of the oppressed and engaged in dawah to his fellow Muslim and non-Muslim students. During his last final undergraduate year he felt that teaching was for him and so he applied to the University of Durham to complete a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and Further Education. He excelled in his PGCE completing two Masters level papers. Since then he has never looked back and has been a successful teacher for 12 years.

Ustadh Rouf started his Islamic studies at university. He studied Tafsir-ul-Qur’an from Shaykh Kehlan Al-Iraqi and he also learnt from Shaykh Awadullah al-Azhari. Having started learning Arabic with several teachers, the urge to progress led him to emigrate abroad from 2009 and 2010, to study Arabic, Tajweed and Aqeedah under Shaykh Mahmood al-Halabi from whom he gained several Ijazaath to teach. Ustadh Rouf was fortunate to continue his studies under Shaykh Sulaiman and other scholars gaining Ijazaath in Aqeedah and Hadith. Al-hamdu-lillah since then he has taught Arabic, Seerah, Adaab and Aqeedah to students from across the world using online and classroom based teaching.
